Center News: Bridgehampton Center for Teaching and Learning Styles
The newest of the International Learning Styles Centers has been fast at work, surveying the Board of Education and faculty for their learning styles, and the students will be completed this spring.
Dr. Favre presented to the Board and the faculty about the results of their individual Building Excellence® Surveys at a Board of Education during a weekend meeting in March of 2011. The program was well received, and we even asked our local newspaper reporters to join in.
The Bridgehampton Center for Teaching and Learning Styles be sending two teachers to the International Learning Styles Institute to be held in Oklahoma this summer and will then add two certified trainers to their staff. Bridgehampton continues working to build their Response to Intervention Program with the Dunn and Dunn Learning Style Model at the core of instruction. Dr. Favre is honored to be the trainer for the Certification Strand this spring, continues to support the ILSN by collecting information for this newsletter, and writes and publishes regularly. She has a chapter in the book recently released by Denmark’s ASB Learning Styles Lab, Lyst til at lære.
